Description

Oven Baked Chicken Tenders are a deliciously crispy yet healthier alternative to fried chicken. Coated in a golden panko breadcrumb mixture, these tenders are juicy on the inside and satisfyingly crunchy on the outside. Perfect for family dinners or gatherings, they pair well with your favorite dipping sauces. With simple ingredients and easy preparation, you can impress everyone at the table!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide for even cooking.
  3. Set up a breading station: one bowl with flour mixed with salt and pepper, another with beaten eggs, and a third with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
  4. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip it in egg, then coat it thoroughly in panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Arrange the coated tenders on the baking sheet, spaced evenly apart.
  6. Lightly spray each tender with olive oil and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
