Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (1 oz)
  • 8 small tortillas (flour or corn)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  2. Drain excess fat if necessary. Stir in taco seasoning and water according to package instructions. Simmer until thickened.
  3. While beef simmers, warm tortillas on a skillet or microwave until soft.
  4. Assemble tacos by placing seasoned beef first in each tortilla; top with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
