  • 1 cup whole grain flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
  3. Add whole grain flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in half of the chopped strawberries gently.
  5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar and an egg until smooth. Stir in remaining strawberries.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish, spread cream cheese mixture on top, then dollop remaining brownie batter over it and swirl lightly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely before slicing.
