  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk until lukewarm, then sprinkle the yeast on top and let it froth for about five minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, melted butter, eggs, and the frothy yeast mixture. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl while waiting for the dough to rise. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter over it.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on top and roll tightly from one end to another. Slice into equal pieces.
  7. Place slices in greased baking pans and let them rise again for another 30 minutes while preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and enough milk for glazing consistency.
  10. Drizzle warm glaze over each roll before serving.
