  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients; stir gently until just mixed.
  5. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  6. Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture on top. Repeat with remaining batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
