- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in an oiled bowl; cover and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Mix cinnamon and sugar for the filling while the dough rises. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle.
- Spread melted butter over the dough, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture, cut into strips, twist into knots, and place on parchment-lined baking sheets.
