  • 1/4 cup honey (for butter)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.
  3. Stir in the milk and melted butter until just mixed; do not overmix.
  4. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan and pour in the batter.

  6. For the cinnamon honey butter, mix softened butter with cinnamon and honey until smooth.
