  • 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup Irish stout beer
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp chives or green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together sharp cheddar cheese, cream cheese, Irish stout beer, Dijon mustard, and chives until smooth.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into 3-inch circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle. Fold over and pinch edges to seal.
  5. Brush the tops with egg wash (beaten egg mixed with water).
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
