  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • ½ cup pesto sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water and instant yeast. Stir in olive oil and salt.
  2. Gradually add flour until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Roll out risen dough into a rectangle, spread pesto evenly, and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Cut into strips, stack vertically in a greased loaf pan, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
