  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup milk (whole preferred)
  • Optional toppings: sprinkles or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Stir in instant pudding mix and milk until smooth.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
