Description

Burger Dinner Foil Packets are a simple yet flavorful meal perfect for outdoor grilling or cozy nights at home. These packets combine juicy ground beef with vibrant vegetables and melty cheese, all sealed in foil for easy cooking and cleanup. Whether you’re camping or having a backyard barbecue, this recipe will impress your family and friends while making dinner a breeze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (mixed colors)
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Heavy-duty aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by chopping the bell peppers and slicing the onion.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Cut heavy-duty aluminum foil into large squares (about 12×12 inches).
  4. Place a scoop of the meat mixture in the center of each foil square, topping with bell peppers, onions, and cheese.
  5. Fold the sides of the foil over the filling to create tightly sealed packets.
  6. Preheat your grill to medium heat (350°F). Cook packets on the grill for 20-25 minutes until meat is thoroughly cooked.
  7. Carefully open each packet (watching out for steam) and serve hot.
