  • 2 cups cooked penne or rotini pasta
  • 2 cups pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and sausage. Add onions and bell peppers; cook until tender.
  4. Stir in pizza sauce and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  5. Layer half of the pasta, meat mixture, and cheeses in the baking dish; repeat layers.
  6. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil for the last 10 minutes to achieve a golden brown top.
